ProA Progressive Web App is a website that has decided to behave like a native app. It works on any device, installs on your home screen, and loads instantly. The advantage: no App Store, no downloads, no $99/year Apple developer account, no one waiting 3 days for app review. Your users just visit a link — that's it. It's almost suspiciously easy. (Note: most of our apps use AI and live data features that require an internet connection.)
It means you supply your own AI API key — either from Google (Gemini) or Anthropic (Claude). We build the app that uses it. When a user interacts with the AI features in your app, those API calls are billed directly to your account by Google or Anthropic. We never touch the billing. Both providers offer free tiers that cover light usage — many small apps will never cost you a penny in AI fees.

We use Cloudflare Access to protect your app's URL. Users log in with their email address and receive a one-time code — no password to remember, forget, or get phished. Minor changes (text, colors, labels) during your included support window are covered at no extra charge. For new features or significant additions, we'll scope and quote the work separately. Hosting subscribers get discounted rates on updates — it's one of the perks of staying on the plan.
If you decide you want to take your app somewhere else — host it yourself, hand it to another developer, just have the code — you can buy it out at any time. You'll receive the full source code and we'll help you migrate it wherever you want. No exit fees, no data held hostage.
Your app goes offline, but your data and code are safe. You can restart hosting anytime, or buy out the app to self-host. We will never delete your work without 30 days' notice and explicit confirmation from you.

Build fees are collected upfront via Stripe before development begins. Monthly hosting is billed automatically via Stripe subscription. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Our apps are designed to solve specific, bounded problems quickly — not to power enterprise workflows or replace major business systems. If you have a small problem that needs a clean, private app, we're your people. If you need a multi-tenant SaaS platform with complex backend infrastructure, we're probably not the right fit and we'll tell you so up front.
Apps are delivered "as is" and "as available." AppsForHire, under Ghost Kitchen LI LLC, makes no warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
Software is software. APIs change. Browsers update. AI models get new versions. Third-party services go down. We will fix what we broke, and we take pride in our work — but we cannot guarantee that every app will work perfectly under every condition in perpetuity.
External breakage is billable. Your app may connect to third-party APIs, AI services, and external platforms that are outside our control. These providers may and often do change their interfaces, deprecate endpoints, adjust rate limits, or shut down entirely — any of which could break functionality in your app. When this happens, AppsForHire is happy to investigate and repair the issue, but this work falls outside your included support window and will be scoped and quoted as a separate engagement at the customer's expense. AppsForHire is not responsible for changes in external APIs, AI services, or connected platforms.
By engaging our services and/or using any app built by AppsForHire, you agree to hold Ghost Kitchen LI LLC, its members, employees, and contractors harmless for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to:
